Sometimes you need to verify yourself in advance and link your booking to your personal Ryanair account. This saves you time at the airport and gives you full access to the Ryanair website (e.g., to check in, change your flights, or add services).
We recommend doing this on a mobile phone, as you'll need to take a photo of your passport or ID card. Don’t have a personal Ryanair account yet? First, create one on this page.
Let's get started! First, retrieve your booking from the Ryanair system:
- Go to this page.
- Click Continue until you can enter your booking details.
- Enter your Booking Reference — this is a 6-character code found in our ticket email.
- Enter your first name and last name, exactly as you provided when making the booking.
- Click Continue.
Now you’re ready to link your booking to your personal Ryanair account:
- Click Log in.
- A new window will open where you’ll need to enter your personal Ryanair login details (again).
- After logging in, you’ll return to the previous screen to complete the linking.
(Didn’t return automatically? Refresh your browser.) - Always choose the free standard verification (no cost).
Ryanair automatically selects the Fast verification (paid), but unfortunately, this often doesn’t work properly. - Tick all the checkboxes to agree to the declarations.
- Take a photo of your passport or ID card.
Are you using a laptop or desktop? Then select Use mobile device and follow the instructions. - Use your finger (or mouse) to provide a signature.
- Finally, enter your mobile phone number and click Submit.
Ryanair will now process your verification and send you an email once it’s complete. This usually takes just a few hours but can take up to 24 hours. Once you've received the confirmation email from Ryanair, you can only access your booking through your personal Ryanair account — for example, to check in online.
Need help with the verification?
Please contact Ryanair directly, via chat or phone. Ryanair is not allowed to refer you to us. Due to privacy regulations, we do not have access to the verification process.
